This is a 10″x8″ acrylic painting on stretched canvas. It took me 2 hours and 9 minutes to create. This is an original painting. A metal wire will be installed for hanging before shipment.
Story:
Sour Grape is a mischievous little cat. He was found in a wine vineyard, batting a grape around in his paws. The owner took him in and dubbed him Sour Grape.
He’s often found in the fields of grapes, sitting on top of a post, greeting the workers, or chasing rodents away from the fruit. The owner likes to call him his “good luck charm” because ever since he’s been added to the crew, moral has been up and less grapes that have been eaten by other animals.
At night, Sour Grape scours the fields, looking out for any animals that would dare to enter his territory. During his breaks, he cleans himself and watches the moon to make sure it doesn’t try any funny business.
While he likes to consider himself a wild cat, he does enjoy a good scratch from a human every now and then.
