Sage

Description

This is a 20″x16″ acrylic painting on stretched canvas. It took me 4 hours and 5 minutes to paint. It is an original painting. Metal wire for hanging will be installed before shipment.

Story:

Sage was a free spirit. She didn’t have a job, or a house, or anyone really close to her, all she cared about was spending time sunbathing on the beaches of California.

One day, she was napping in the middle of a hot summer day, resting her slender figure on a beach towel, when she over heated and passed away due to heatstroke. Her body was found and she was buried in an unmarked grave. Sage spent years in her coffin, loathing the cold darkness that engulfed her.

Eventually, she decided enough was enough and was determined to see the sun again. With pure will power, she dug herself out of her grave and walked towards the sunset, knowing it would lead her to the beach. When she arrived, Sage rested her bones in the sand and let out a sigh she was holding in for years, finally at peace in her happy place.
