This is a 16″x20″ acrylic painting on stretched canvas. It took me 3 hours and 28 minutes to paint. It is an original painting. Metal wire for hanging will be installed before shipment.
Story:
19 year old Wren wasn’t always the royal jester. She was once the king’s daughter before he disowned her for refusing to marry the prince her father ordered her to. The king was forming an alliance between the kingdoms and she’d ruined his plans.
The king was furious with her. Wren was stripped of her beautiful belongings, replacing her clothes with her new uniform and leaving her in a bare room that only held a bed. The bed had a single sheet with black and red strips, a reminder that she’s become a joke to her family and to her kingdom.
She was instructed to have an act by dinner that would entertain the royal family or she’d loose her tongue.
She sobbed through her anger and grief, thinking of the life she’d lost.
